Feb 24-25, Havana to Varadero and Getting back to Canada
On the morning of the 24th, we woke up early at 6am to get down to the bus station on time to check in. The cab arrived at the Villa at 6:30, and we were gone soon after saying goodbye. We got to the bus station, checked in, got coffee and boarded the bus soon after. We spent about 3 hours on the bus from Havana to Varadero. It was quite exciting to leave Havana and move on to the final leg of our trip. When we made it to Varadero, we got off the bus and walked to the Airbnb where we were staying. The owner was super friendly, and she recommended a bunch of restaurants nearby that we should go check out. We immediately dumped our bags and headed for the Italian restaurant that she recommended for some pizza and midday drinks. After this, we walked a long way up along the beach until we hit the all-inclusive and stopped to look at the knickknacks.
